What products do you use?
At Iuliana Skin Care studio we use DMK Skincare and we are recognized as a certified DMK Clinic. We use DMK skin care. This paramedical line is cruelty-free, and most of the products are safe for pregnant clients. DMK facials are perfect for acne-prone skin, dry/sensitive skin and mature skin.
How Should I Prepare for My Wax?
To ensure the most optimal wax experience, you must prepare for a wax! We recommend exfoliating the area several days prior to your appointment. Thoroughly clean the area and make sure to moisturize while avoiding greasy and heavy lotions or oils.
Does Waxing Hurt?
The million-dollar question, “does waxing hurt?” is nearly impossible to answer! Everyone has a different scale for pain tolerance and what is painful for someone may not bother someone else. However, at Iuliana Skin Care Studio, both our wax and our process work together to offer you the most comfortable service possible.
Can I get a facial if I am pregnant?
Absolutely, facials during pregnancy can be especially beneficial. During pregnancy your skin will often reflect the hormonal changes occurring within your body, having facials will help balance those changes.
Can I where make-up after my facial?
We suggest that you allow your skin to absorb the nutrients and hydration from your treatment make-up free for at least 12 hours. However if you need to wear make-up afterwards, applying it will not harm your facial.
